The action points mod just increases your MAXIMUM possible points, not your current amount. :) Makes high AP builds / multi-class builds a bit more viable in late game combat.

There is still also a working mod, :D, to enable achievements when using mods, hahaa :)! Started playing a week a ago or so myself and works for me! cant remember now if I got the mod from Steam or DOS 2 de Nexus, a bit of googling will propably find it, if not, check Nexus for classic DOS 2 achievements mod, there is propably a link for de version. Or You Tube.

There's still a .dll injector on Nexus that works if you use other .dll mods. Activating mods through the workshop or in-game doesn't work, though. You have to add any mods you want to the "Native Mods" folder and they load by themselves at start, allowing you to trick the game into thinking it's running vanilla.

I have experience with these things; a lot of times the only thing keeping me from going full completionist is a very tiny little detail that totally ruins the experience, and this was no exception. Mods just make those little problems go away, so I can continue to thoroughly get my ass kicked in a way I enjoy. xD

For me this was the limited spirit vision. I only got the Honour achievement then dipped on the rest because of recasting spirit vision. I wouldnt enable achievements while using mods though myself. I just play without one or the other

That's more than fair, I personally don't use cheat mods, but I could see why you'd refrain from doing so; especially since there's really no monetary gain or any REAL incentive for achievement completion except for a virtual badge saying "Hey, I did the thing!"

Meh, I usually just weigh whether or not the mod is worth installing, and consider the possible reprecussions for minor changes to gameplay. If I find a game to be good enough to replay multiple times for achievements and story, then I likely am going to mod it somewhat to make subsequent playthroughs have a bit more ease of use (sprint mods for being out of combat, toggle spirit vision out of combat, party pricing and persuasion checks equaling out (so you're not manually swapping leaders every 6-10 minutes in town), etc.)

ya achievements are just saying what you did so using mods with them or not really no big deal (other then if developers want to make a default option of disabling them that whatever).

very rare in games are achievements really achievements at most they may be hey I dedicated a insane amount of time on this game (some in certain games are even clearly intended for that like kill 99999 enemies or play 365 days)
The only achievement in some games are like on the trully brutal games on max difficulty and that would be 1 of the only times I would see it as a cheating achievement and funny enough some of those at times have cheats and the like and give a achievement when you use them (this game beyond far from brutal even on max).
