Restrictions are important in video games, since they enable the player to use everything at their disposal to win and still feel challenged.
Its just broken game mechanics that needs to be fixed to not make the genre impossible to play in the long run.
Do you seriously think Larian will do that? Don't be ridiculous. As others have said just don't do it if you don't like it.
Yeah, the dispute isn't about this imo, it's about whether or not this is broken. Being able to infinitely recycle turns is pretty broken, to be fair, if that's possible with fleeing. (Never really tried since I'm too impatient)

I am struggling to care about it as much as you seem to.
How did they make it impossible in the sequel? What, exactly, happens to prevent this? What are the details of the new mechanisms in the sequel?
I quicksaved/quickloaded a lot in the first game and I'd hate to hear that they restricted that in the sequel. But if they did, I'd like to know about it.
