Can't talk to Xiuh

Act 2 in the graveyard, i'm trying to get the password for the chest. I'm using a mask of the shapeshifter on my character with both petpal and scholar, but he still won't talk to me. Does anyone know why this would be the case?

In short, if you have mask to change apperances or elf in group you can eat lizard's (Consul Zur's) foot in mansion (to be more specific in ryker's basement at X:596 Y:787), once you eat it you can go back to the chest and change appearnce to lizzard, then you can safely open it, by telling chest that consul zur is dead. You will need to go through speech check though!

Things is, he didn't talk to me either =/ I just wrote how to finish quest without any issues. Sorry if that's not what you want =( There must be bug or he only talks to native lizards =/

Having the same problem. Xiuk ignores party members even with the mask. This always worked before. Rhykker also seems bugged out, says I struck him even if I didn't attack him.

Forblaze is correct, just eat the foot to gain the knowledge (it also gives you a fire whip skill)

Pet Pal and Persuasion worked for me to talk to him. I had the Red Prince in my party so I didn't try it with the mask.

Anybody managed to talk to Xiuh without the Red Prince in the party? I had Xane use the Mask to become a Lizard but the salamander still ignores me.
