Seed of Power annoying interaction
So far i'm really loving these new Relics of Rivellon quests but unfortunately one of them interferes with an existing quest rather negatively. In Act II when you meet Daeyena again, she is dangerously close to the magicockerel who you need to talk to to finish the counting your chickens quest.

Unfortunately, if you try to do that quest and choose the option that ends in a fight, she will immediately become hostile and join in with her sidekick and a bunch of summons. I've tried raising her attitude with gifts so she doesn't attack but i can't trade with her sidekick so that doesn't work.

So now my alternatives are, choose the quest option i'd like to take and kill her (or more likely die because she's a much higher level than me at that stage), or choose the other option to avoid making her hostile and potentially ruining the rest of the questline further on.

Yeah there are many things they need to fix with this update, mainly bugs but also seed of power ruining the chicken quest.
I eventually managed to do it but it was way too much effort. I had to respec one of my characters to get netherswap, give Daeyena a bunch of stuff to raise her attitude, then netherswap her and the sidekick up on the raised platform with the ladder near where the trial of seasons occurs and prevent them from pathfinding their way back by blocking the ladder with a barrel. I imagine i'll probably have to do the same thing to prevent them from interfering with that battle as well.

That sounds like a lot of work. The quest is more on the comedy side of things and the exp isnt that amazing either so skipping it isnt the worst thing but if it's the first playthrough I understand wanting to see every quest.

I've not reached that part trying to experience the new quests, but my assumption there is that you might be able to just delay the chicken quest until you've finished whatever you need to do for the armor quest, then just go and do the chicken one afterwards. Not sure if that is a proper solution given that I've not gotten there to try it myself, but its a thought based on what I know about the game.

Impossible unfortunately. After interacting with the NPC, she stays in the same spot. I tried moving the magicockerel instead but it seems the fight always spawns in the exact same spot regardless.

How has this not been fixed? It's such an easy fix. Guess Larian doesn't care about DOS2 anymore because they're too busy making $ off of Early Access BG3. Sigh. Used to be such a great company.

There are many bugs still. For example I couldn't finish the Taste of Freedom quest because the lich wouldn't initiate dialogue with me after being freed. I found him in the woods, "killed" him and he's still standing there at 0 hp. Same with Gareth at his family farm, I wanted to tell him about the magister who killed his parents but cannot talk to him so the quest is not finishable.

Since the game has been out for quite a while now I think you're right, Larian is concentrating on BG3 and doesn't really care anymore.
