[FIXED]Wedding cake crash

in the wedding quest, when i touch the cake my game crashes does anyone have any info or ♥♥♥♥♥ to help?
Edit: I just wanted to say that the crash is not affect any storyline such as lohse or beast and you can skip it. There is more info about the cake and progress in this link

The Wedding cake crash disaster

Looking for help really.

Firstly, I have checked file integrity and my PC is up to date for drives etc.

My issue is simple, every time I click on the Wedding Cake in Arx during the dwarven storyline my game completely crashes as the toys pop out. Has anybody come up against this at all or are there any other suggestions except lose all that play time by reloading the whole game?

Same situation, after cutting the wedding cake, then crash happened.
Already try in different computers, but in same result

This crash is a result of the latest patch, the devs are aware of the issue and are working on a fix (source)

There’s a bomb in the cake, and now it literally bombs your game to oblivion. Sounds like a deliberate patch instead of a glitch.

guys i had the same problem but you can just ignore the cake nothing will happen and you will not miss anything, just watch a youtube video or read the quest details on wiki if you want but i myself finshed the game with no problem without touching the cake

Bug in city of Arx

wedding cake explodes then the game crashes, happen 4 seperate times now not sure how to fix

Me too, bug was introduced with the last maj, so i read.

Someone from Larian said they were "working on a fix since the bug was reproducible"...

Was something like two to three weeks ago I think. Hope they'll fix it fast cuz it keeps me from playing the game ;-(

The portal at the Lizard Consulate, too. Alexandar uses his first skill, "Ritual of Madness" (or whatever), and causes the crash.

Reached Arx, opened the cake, and it crashed. Nintendo Switch player here, by the way, so it's probably widespread.
