A lot of people don’t like summons late game. Personally I think they are fantastic. You can make them do any type of damage which makes them pretty flexible, the incarnates final form is absolutely amazing, and the bone widow from necromancy scales with summoning and can kick out tremendous physical damage. Right now I’m doing a run with all of my party members being summoners as a face roll run because I find summoning to be so effective late game.

As far as lone wolf goes Simmons become exponentially stronger. Your stat increase turns into a percentage increase for summons which makes them significantly stronger

Your pets stats scale with your level and summoning skill from what I understand. With certain items you can boost your summoning skill above its max which still increases the bonuses

Summons are pretty terrible for Lone Wolves. They're okay for the first few levels once you get your Champion Incarnate, but very very quickly, the base damage from your attacks will be able to vastly outdamage your summon (and realistically, even in the early game most of the enemies are so weak compared to Lone Wolf that you don't need the help) . All of the massive damage and AP bonuses would get as a LW are kind of wasted playing as a summoner.

None. That's the problem. It doesn't scale like everything else, so it ends up falling off later.

That's actually the build I used the very first time I went through the game solo on Tactician.
