lohse is my favorite character i think

im gonna be honest i really like lohse's entire design, everything from the jester style dialogue and jokes to the fact her basic setup is a healer (i know i can make anyone else a healer, i get it, still, healer by default is something i adore, coming from an mmo standpoint) her quest is one of the better ones (although i really need to branch out of my base squad to confirm) and she even is a damn talented musician (seriously, i think playing through just to hear her sing is worth it, cheers larian) to the point id like a soundtrack from the game because of it. and shes also the only character i dont wanna punch. i put up with red for the summon, beast just really doesnt want me murdering lohar (and i would like to stab him for his mob den) while lohse is generally fun all around. she tells jokes while red has a stick so far up his bum youd think he was a priest of tir-cendus (joke being that he has the temple up his arse not that elves are snobby).

Yea, from what i have seen, Lohse has the most interesting questline out of all preset chars. That song after she's freed or something is just too good . But, in terms of gameplay i like to play Fane more, he's way too good to skip.

I really like her too. She's funny and kinda cool. Though Sebille is very nice after a while. So is Ifan. Haven't played Red or Beast but the 3 I got are lovely!

Edit: The character I hate is Malady. Everyone is going on about how cool she is. She's an ass... and the storywriters pump her up with others telling you she isnt.

Yea, all of the presets have their own unique traits. Larian did a really great job at making these characters and their story interesting. Glad to see that you enjoyed the game!

I'm running with Lohse as my "main" for my play through. I have Sebille, Red, and Ifan as my companions. Red is a big teddy bear, albeit an arrogant one (though that makes sense consider his upbringing). Sebille is a bit cliche, which is disappointing, even though the writing for her is good. Ifan is... I still haven't made up my mind about him yet. The Lone Wolves are kinda on my sh!t list for this play through, though. I usually do a "good" play through on my first time, and they're kinda scummy. I mean, the Magisters are more likeable than the Wolves.

Now my 2nd play will be with Fane and then it's all gloves off, morally bankrupt, lets watch the world burn and raise the dead as my army.

But he doesn't mind if you kill em all :) He hasn't peeked while I left 0 lone wolves standing. We're best buddies.

i use beast red and lohse. at least beast grows from it and ends up singing sea shanties on the vengance. red i punched in the nose for suggesting i be his slave

Sooo... Im running ifan, lohse and sebille and just reached arx. Just had a talk with Lohse about spending the night with Sebille.

I have not finished Lohse's quest and this isn't just a romance wise opinion. Sebille seems better. She talks more, trusts you more, is more open to opinions etc. I started the game with the idea that I'd romance Lohse and by the time I reached Arx I felt the writters had done a great job with building a connection with Sebille and Ifan but totally failed with Lohse. Except for a couple of parts she just discusses things with Malady and keeps serious issues to herself. Sebille talks to you about her personal issues, has a few drinks with you, flirts with you (if you go there).

I might change my mind later but till now quite disapointed with Lohse. Also I posted all that to say: OP if you haven't played with Sebille... shes really cool!

i get her reasons tho, so i don't hate her for it. no i hate people who are like "oh you just saved my family from certain doom? i guess thats..... acceptable, for a lizard.
its why my next playthrough is going to be a LW murder run. land back to the bears and bunnies

Lohse is just xxxxing awesome. I love her. No really. when she plays her lute, at the end, that's a bit special Probably the most memorable and engaging protagonist in any computer game. Cept maybe Duke. Or Gordon. Now if someone would just release some high quality resin minis, that would be a bit perfect. Not 28mm though. Rubbish scale.

Favorite character for me is 100% Fane. Lohse is a close second, then the Red Prince. The others are just meh.

I never quite understand why people have such issue with Red and this bit. I suppose people misunderstand just what it means. Or the context or something. Because nothing about it is a bad thing.

nah the issue i have with him is he never takes his nose out his tail long enough to realize someone should be respected. its not for nothing that many many npcs flat out hate him.
