Right...buffing and healing helped win the fight for me! All the TEAS, all the Teleportation skills, anything that restores health, physical and magical armor. Focus on killing the boss guy the entire fight.
I totally forgot I even had Anathema tbh. I teleported to the island behind the starting position for that fight, huddled under a bubble, and let the Kraken die to Thunderstorm.
You've got infinite Source points in that fight (at least I did). So you might as well fill your hotbars with Source skills too.
Just tried it, after chugging my entire inventory. I still lost chasing braccus around the map, void glide with no cooldown must be nice
I grabbed the high ground and braccus came to me.
I may come back to this if it gets nerfed, but this is the worst most overtuned fight in the game. Absolute ♥♥♥♥.
Or maybe it is just you, considering how many people have beaten it.
I refused to give up my source so I battled everyone. Took down Lucian first and then Braccus. Dunno if that helps.
Then I won this battle on classic difficulty by killing this a##hole before he transformed arena into unbalanced meatgrinder (i think this is the only reason why developers gives you Anathema - to have a way to finish the guy-in-the-hood with one epic hit after you buffed yourself with all the potions and blessings Rivelon ever seen), and then killed mr. Lucian without any problems.
And yea, i know how this ending is f#cked up - first you have a nice epic feeling of one of the best endings of videogame history, but soon you will find out that this scene is totally unbalanced and unplayable for most of "traditional" playstyled parties, getting sad and disapointed...
2nd part - sent rogue after Braccus with adrenaline you get rid of most of his physical armor/move ranger to high ground on the left (I used chameleon cloak first) /leave tank in the center of the room getting hit/move spell caster to ranger.
Braccus goes after caster/ranger so teleport him down to rouge (I had teleport on ranger just for that). The rogue and ranger should finish him by turn 3, caster just buffs whoever needs it and the tank will literally be stunned the entire fight so give him a shield if you using 2 hander.
Then just unload all source on the rest. I think I finished it on my 3rd or 4th try on classic mode with this technique.
