The Kraken wins.
I've given up, probably for the first time ever in any game.

Running 2h warrior, enchanter buffer, rogue and wayfarer summoner. Stubbornly stuck with the combo the entire game with very few hangups I couldnt solve by either coming back or gearing up more.

It seems like resorting to double rogue lone wolf cheese is the only way to go, and I just dont find it very fun.

anethima isnt even worth the time to equip its a tickle cannon

gg I guess? =-/

Sounds like you need more crit modifier and to apply waaaaaaaaay more consumables / scrolls before starting the fight, or even as your first turn just chug all the tea / buff food.

Right...buffing and healing helped win the fight for me! All the TEAS, all the Teleportation skills, anything that restores health, physical and magical armor. Focus on killing the boss guy the entire fight.

You don't need double rogue to cheese the game. Thunderstorm is also pure cheddar.

I totally forgot I even had Anathema tbh. I teleported to the island behind the starting position for that fight, huddled under a bubble, and let the Kraken die to Thunderstorm.

You've got infinite Source points in that fight (at least I did). So you might as well fill your hotbars with Source skills too.

I didnt consider abusing the source skills, I must have missed thunderstorm somewhere though.

Just tried it, after chugging my entire inventory. I still lost chasing braccus around the map, void glide with no cooldown must be nice

I grabbed the high ground and braccus came to me.

Sounds like you are having issues chasing him. After teleporting him to us, I used spider legs to cast a web on him a few turns in a row while we worked him down. This prevents him from moving or using movement skills.

I give up, uninstall. jesus. I tried changing it up by killing braccus before the reveal and I succeeded but was too low from the big lucian hits to kill anyone else. blah.

I may come back to this if it gets nerfed, but this is the worst most overtuned fight in the game. Absolute ♥♥♥♥.

Potion of all resistance make you immune against the kraken. Even the small 15% one help a lot. Use the dome and bless, and the kraken wont hurt much.

Or maybe it is just you, considering how many people have beaten it.

Defeated the last battle with a solo LW. It wasnt easy but I got em. There is always a way. Focusing on one style of damage helps with a full party, physical or magic. A lot of CC helps too. It just sounds like your setup isn't optimal. I would take a good look at your characters and how they really gel.

I refused to give up my source so I battled everyone. Took down Lucian first and then Braccus. Dunno if that helps.

I completed it today. Here is what I did. First phase focus on only Dallis. Defeat her with your 1st 2 characters preferably a rougue. In 2nd phase try yo get out of open fire and use invisibility potions. When all of the Lucian's minions die Braccus rex will stand in one place. Get your characters around him and attack him. Save 1 AP for invisibility potion and drink it. I had 3 potions for every character. Chanterelle+empty potion bottle.

*Spoiler warning* You can just go in options and switch difficulty level to easiest one (you can do this even right in the middle of the battle), this is how I won the final battle for my first time (after I lost 5 times in a row due to overpowered unbalanced minions this a##hole had)...
Then I won this battle on classic difficulty by killing this a##hole before he transformed arena into unbalanced meatgrinder (i think this is the only reason why developers gives you Anathema - to have a way to finish the guy-in-the-hood with one epic hit after you buffed yourself with all the potions and blessings Rivelon ever seen), and then killed mr. Lucian without any problems.
And yea, i know how this ending is f#cked up - first you have a nice epic feeling of one of the best endings of videogame history, but soon you will find out that this scene is totally unbalanced and unplayable for most of "traditional" playstyled parties, getting sad and disapointed...

First part - Retreat to the high ground, arrow storm then balistic shot Dallias will take you to part 2. I used a lvl 21 ranger

2nd part - sent rogue after Braccus with adrenaline you get rid of most of his physical armor/move ranger to high ground on the left (I used chameleon cloak first) /leave tank in the center of the room getting hit/move spell caster to ranger.

Braccus goes after caster/ranger so teleport him down to rouge (I had teleport on ranger just for that). The rogue and ranger should finish him by turn 3, caster just buffs whoever needs it and the tank will literally be stunned the entire fight so give him a shield if you using 2 hander.

Then just unload all source on the rest. I think I finished it on my 3rd or 4th try on classic mode with this technique.

Get some tea from Lady Kemm, brew it in her kettle, enjoy that +2AP and -2 action cost. You didn't know this? Then you did not explore enough and fail at rpg.
