Elf Geo mage + Flesh Sacrifice + Turn to Oil + EA
Normally combining Geo and Elemental Affinity together is impossible because Geo mage(or Geo skills) can't benefit from Elemental Affinity when they're standing on the fire surface. So just getting close to enemies and pouring Nova/Ray/Fireball is one typical method of Pyro/Geo EA mage.

However, 'Flesh Sacrifice' and 'Turn to Oil' solves all of these problems.

High Ground - Flesh Sacrifice(+1AP) - Trun to Oil(-1AP) - Pour 4 Geo skills(-4AP)
(Dart/Fossil/Impalement/Throw Dust)

It'll be more efficient if enemies are standing on the fire surface. Enemies will keep exploding on the fire surface while you are standing on the Oil surface and shooting Geo skills. If you understand what this means, you'll be amazed how powerful it can be. Let's just be grateful to developers who made this amazing game.

Flesh Sacrifice eats up some CON, but it's not a big problem. You can find many gears(belt/ring/pants) with +1 +2 CON.

Does Fane remain his ability to give additional turn if used mask to change his appearance to elf? Because if answer is yes, he can combine this with follow-up fire combos to make it even stronger and more reliable.

Mask doesn't replace Time Warp. It only changes Play Dead to Flesh Sacrifice, so you can use Time Warp and Flesh Sacrifice at the same time.

I think Using crafted mask(not Fane's mask. Fane's mask doesn't work) and wearing helmet again is a bug, but I saw some people saying it's not a bug. I can't be sure because I'm not a developer. Anyway, it's currently possible to use Time Warp/Flesh Sacrifice and wear a helmet at the same time.

Shall we continue our game, Bot? :steamhappy:

Again - Turn to Oil is stupid idea to combo with Flesh Sacriface. Much better to use Contagion :

1) It's cost same 1 AP, but able to deal some damage to enemies nearby.

2) It's turn blood into poison. Poison don't apply nasty slow debuff.

I don't like to talk to trolls. You always try to fight with everyone, and I think you have some mental problem. Use whatever you think is best, and please, don't talk to me. Go somewhere else and make your own thread.

It's you who deleted own post several times today over and over again only to remove my (perfectly polite) answer.

So no, look in mirror at first, please. GL, HF.

Just use poison dart on the floor before the fight.

There are people who don't like to change surfaces before the fight because it feels like cheesing. Also you can't always predict where and when you would need the oil/poison surface. Don't take me wrong. I'm not saying you shouldn't use poison dart before the fight.

Besides, Turn to Oil still provides more versatility. You can use Geo+EA before and after the Pyro routine. You can also use Flesh Sacrifice and some Necro skills, and turn the surface into oil and use Geo+EA routine without moving. There're more ways to utilize this skill.

Well, i figured out a 'perfect combo' but then noticed someone else did that for me. The idea is to use explosive trap on enemy before using everything else. This way you can apply fire and proc explosions with geo spells. Going further, if you play as Fane you can use Time Warp after your combo and procced with Contagion (oil under your feet will become fire) to proc Elemental Affinity and other fire spells to finish enemy off.
Gamebot Nov 17, 2017 @ 7:46am
Contagion? Are you talking about Ignition?
Rion Nov 17, 2017 @ 7:47am
Yeah, sure. Previous message confused me, i meant spell for 1 AP which ignites every surface susceptible to fire. Anyway, I guess you got the idea:)

I've tested Explosive trap before, and the damage was pretty decent, but only downside was 1 turn delay for the activation. I haven't thought about using Time Warp and Explosive Trap together. That's brilliant.

Fair enough. I use dragon breath to switch poison to fire. Flesh sacrifice opens more possibility but i don't use it on mages even if it's good on pretty much everyone. Also i hate being slowed, but that's just me.

Actually you don't need to wait for Explosive trap to be activated. You can hit it with any spell (Fossil Strike for example) and it gonna explode. And here you go with all of your geo spells on burning enemy.

Right, I wasn't clear about that. 1. Using Fossil/Impalement before the Explosive Trap to be activated 2. After using up Geo spells, use ignition/Time Warp and keep pouring Pyro spells. It seems like a perfect combo. Interesting, too.
