Upgrading potions with Augmentor.

So I can upgrade healing potions from minor to medium and medium to healing using augmentor.

Though this doesn't seem to work for armor and magic armor potions.

I'm also using the herb garden gift bag. Does this disable it?

combining two of the same has the same effect. The second and third tier augmentor is best used on trumpet of death "resist all" potions. Not all potions can be upgraded with it, some can't be upgraded with the first tier augmentor and requires the second or third tiers instead. Combining the same tier potion is the most consistent. The largest armor potions can't be crafted.
