Where in the He** are the goods from Griff's stolen crate?

Just picked up this game again after a hiatus (damn you, Dark Souls!) and now I'm stumped. I'm looking for the contents of Griff's stolen crate. I've been all over Fort Joy and spoken to everyone and everything. I can't find a single hint or clue about the "citrus-scented" swag.

Can anyone help me out? I'm going nuts here. I've played plenty of RPGs and have never found myself so bereft. I've consulted some online resources (e.g. fextralife) and can't find anything specific about this particular item.

You've got to deal with stingtail, a blue lizard south of griff's kitchen and to the left of the cave if you look on the map.

Yeah you can just steal them from his body. They are shown as an orange or citrus type fruit if i remember correctly. Just bring them to griff and you'll be good.

As I said, I combed every available pixel in the map and, IIRC, did speak to Stingtail. Maybe I just let him sleep...? Anyway, got the orange and promised not to rat him out. Took it back to Griff, had a fine little set-to, and roasted him and his posse. (Do people say 'posse' anymore?)

Yeah it's worth noting that the crate itself doesn't have the stolen goods. Stingtail has them on his person.

My usual route is to let Sebelle do her thing and just take it off his corpse haha.
