Kill zaleskar or not

Just got into the swamps and met Zaleskar on the bridge.. Sebile attacked him and we killed him.. he has some awesome loot on him

Are there any consquences to killing him straight away or does he have a quest

Only characters tied to him are Sebille and Ifan iirc, so he's just there to advance those Origin characters, nothing more.

Edit: Also apparently Fane and Undeads.

He is a decent vendor until you get to a camp. He has a good two handed sword, I think. I really just used him to sell stuff to, mostly.

Ifan isn't in my party.. I kept my save so I'll check fanes dialogue

Yeah... He's got some nice gear... When you kill him, he also has some great stuff

This is a silly question, why you don't grab that sweet XP when you can?

Sebille attacked him ? Strange in my former party i had her as companion and she TALKED with him. He was apparently frightened by her but no combat. He gave her the info she wanted.

Way past this now... but if i remember rightly, i upgraded some of my partys stuff.. then killed him and looted his corpse... He be dead :)

Sebille is my main, although I did separate her from the party then had fane chat with him.. traded then killed him anyway.. worked out fine :)

Companion Sebille doesn't have to fight, main character Sebille needs persuasion otherwise you fight.
