Question about the "definitive edition" and keys

Hi , on steam there is only the "definitive edition" but honestly the game is too expensive for me on steam.

On keys website like G2a or Instant gaming it just says " Divinity : originial sins 2" Since the definitive edition was a free update for those with the base game, will i get this update since the title suggest it's the base game ?

Or is it directly the definitive edition ?

TBH I'm not sure, I don't think the classic version is even available anymore so as long as it's
a steam key you're getting it should be the definitive edition.

ah man that sucks :( It was about 60% off up to until yesterday or the day before. :( Even on Larian's Website we only see DE. But i'm curious, when i look on instant G, it's even $ 2 more expensive than Steam? i get $54 on Steam and $56 on IG? Seems only DOS 1 is available on enhanced Edition and standad edition from what i've found.

When you launch the game you are asked whether to play the original or definitive edition. It was literally just an update, there are no different versions.

Because you buy it from the steam store, where it says "Definitive edition" no ?

Will the same happens if they don't write "Definitive edition" on the key website ?

Sorry if i sound doubtful i'm just close with my money
