If they're both undead then Fane is better because of time warp, so if you really want to restart then it would be better to choose Fane.

10% Fire Res and 10% Poison Res
Yeah the only race that still gets something good out of being undead is human,vitality bonuses are kinda useless and 10% poison from lizard is wasted cause they are already healing from poison.
At level 17 my dwarf warrior has 2218 health while my rogue has 988, pyro mage 1131, hydro cleric 1454.
Plus dodge builds.
I don't see a 10% Fire and Poison res to be that relevant considering you'll he drinking resistance potions anyway for those type of fights.
