"Report on the toyseller" missing?

So I'm doing the Arx quests now and I've searched the barracks, even looked up the exact location but can't seem to find the book "Report on the toyseller" Any ideas?

Where did you look? The book is on the corpse of a magister below the balcony there, there is a small break in the railing for you to be able to teleport down to the corpse.

The book is to be found on the desk to the left of the entrance of the second room from the first room under the Barrack's kitchen accessible using the hatch door with the combination lock (under some crates at a corner). However, if already interacted with the spirit of magister Wainslow (above ground in the Barracks) to help find magister Brannt earlier, then, the book is to be found on Brannt's body (by the yellow flag "To the Sewers).
