Best seekers to bring for big battle at Fort Joy?
Recently started a new game on the hard difficulty, loving how its making each battle difficult where I have to actually think tactically. So far a lot of the battles have been TOUGH.

Which seekers should I bring for the fight? I remember from last playthroughs there were a couple that I brought that were utterly useless, and one that performed well. Cant remember which one though. I know performance is heavily random/happenstance, but are there key ones to choose for this?

My party is using a ranged bow summoner, warrior necromancer, rogue metamorph and a wizard. Thanks!

At this point you may have already beaten the fight, anyway, I would go with tanks since they can take more punishment before they get shreked, the seekers are canon fodder and should be treated as such, do not count on them for anything else.

I usually take Matis, the lizard you healed in the camp and Kerban the armor vendor. They both die anyway, so it’s no biggie if they drop in the fight, and they both tank some decent damage before going down.

Though if you’re having trouble with fights, it could very well be your team. A ranged summoner depends very much on his build as summoning is really only worth it if you put into nothing else but summoning until it is max. So the bow would only have regular attacks unless you have huntsman from gear. This is also your only other source of magic damage besides the wizard, so unless you always summon a magic based incarnate, you’ll be splitting your team 3/1 on damage type, a very punishing rookie mistake. It’s highly recommended that if you use both physical and magic damage, you run it 2/2 so they can pair off and focus. Otherwise you’ll have one character struggling to pull their weight while the other three have to pull that extra weight.

You could probably finish the game with your current setup, it’s just going to be unnecessarily more difficult if not performed well.
Start way, way, way high up. Eliminate the island, ofc, you want all the experience you can get since they leave once you reach a certain part in the story, this being said....cheese it, but dont. You have terrain to your advantage. Go around and grab all the 10k hp crates you can carry, this is usually 1 at a time due to their 100 lb weight.....and start blocking the route up to your part. Also make SURE to place a crate blocking the ladder to your access point cause, well, they CAN climb :) This is how I did it.

Or use a skeleton like fain, grab that death fog barrel and throw it on them before the battle begins? I had heard of this tactic before but never tested it myself, I actually wanted to fight and earn in.

EDIT: Just realized I left out a crucial tip there. Obviously, island wiped, so you have teleport gloves by this point. Need to teleport Alexander up to you, DONT teleport Dallas :) Now, if done correctly, you just need to take out Alexander, and her flippin pets, all 3 of which are very nasty at this stage of the game. The soldiers will need to be dealt with too, but, after those 3, will feel like mashed potatoes.
