You can buy more. You can also craft from Life Essence + Water Essence+ Paper

You just need to craft more (water essence, life essence and paper) or buy more. The very easiest difficulty offers a resurrect spell and there is a later Necromancy spell that can revive, but I don't believe you can get that until level 16 or so.

You can also flee combat and try to res afterward if there are no enemies around presumably

Can you go back to an earlier save and then do as stated above?
If you have a few points in thievery, you can also pickpocket some.

You should not really run out of scrolls, if your party dies a lot, i suggest you to lower a bit the difficulty and/or find more viable builds on the guide section of the game.

Definitely this. If you’re using res scrolls often, either you have the difficulty too high or your builds are very inefficient. Like having any CON. Inefficient. Though I am more than willing to give you tips or even detailed build ideas to make things better so you can enjoy the game more.

Story mode gives you unlimited res

Thanks for the suggestions. I will look to the builds. Is there a way to change the build mid game or do i have to start a new one?

Once you reach act two you'll have infinite free respecs.

You can wait act 2 or install a mod (check workshop) that spawn a mirror in the beach of fort joy and you can respec there.

There's really no, "or". If you die often, your builds are definitely inefficient. Tactician really isn't that hard if you have a basic idea of the games mechanics and are using decent builds.

I completely disagree about "no" part, this game is about doing as much damage as possible as fast as possible, so it's ok to invest everything in damage, burst, die, be resurrected with cooldowns removed, burst again, die etc.. resurrection scroll is probably most OP consumable in all game.

Eh, a good team doesn't really need them. I keep a stockpile that I steal from act one, but barely use them and I go into act two at level 9 and rush straight for the level 15 content. Even 5-6 levels down I don't need the scrolls much. If you need one every fight or close to, your team needs adjustment. I still disagree with the post you quoted as either a more efficient team or the lowering of the difficulty would help, both are options, but I'd also not entirely agree with your statement either. Your high damage is the reason you shouldn't be taking damage, because the enemy should be CC'd that much faster too. That's the whole reason you run high damage in the first place.

Well, you know that resurrection totally resets cooldowns even for 1-per-battle skills and literally allows to do 2 "1st turn bursts" in 1st turn? I.e. non-lone wolf glass cannon elf rogue with adrenaline and skin graft have up to 22 AP in first turn if he is resurrected by sturdy char with low initiative in the end of the round? Resurrected char is placed in 1st round again but with removed debuffs, cooldowns and adrenalines, in favorable position of your selection.
