Best Way to Kill Hannag?

Love the game, btw. Currently, playing in classic mode and enjoying it. Everything was going well(i mean died few times here and there) until this Hannag quest. I looked in the internet and found people saying to knockdown her before she sacrifies herself and brings death upon you. My persuasion was low and didnt like her so i thought fight(bad choice). After dying 2-3 times fighting those stupid voidwoken, i got an idea. Being my whole party intiative quite low(i am playing single player), i thought for a while and tried this method. She bring about lava which instantly kills you if you attack her while she is fighting with magister, so i thought why not kill her with her own medicine.

To make this work, you need one member with teleportation(be ready) and the other(the main character, godwoken). If any other member hit her, she will immediately start fight and bring about voidwoken but if godwoken hits her, she will use lava and kill him/her instantly. In that moment, the teleporter should teleport her into lava and kill her along with the godwoken(sacrifice). Instant XP and so much of it. Try alternative way if it works for you, this i found the simplest and do talk with magister first before facing her to gain some more XP.

Necro ability living on the edge works as well to survive the lava. Or a few resistance potions.

Or. Or. Just get terrain transmutation and use the lava that is already on the ground near where you first see her.

Part of me is remembering her with 100% fire resistance. Or is that only her undead form?

Lava =/= fire. Pretty sure the game would kill a character with 100% fire resistance in lava.

It does fire damage. I have gotten characters to 100+ fire resistance to specifically survive her lava attack.

Disclaimer : I have completed the quest On the Ropes before meeting Hannag

1. Tell Magister you will handle Hannag (gain 7500XP)
2. Standby a) teleport char b)terrain transmut char on high level
3. Use c) char with high persuasion skill and d)thief char to approach Hannag
4. Let Hannag kill c&d with lava
5. Use a/b char to resurrect c) persuasion char to be directly in front of Hannag (best to face the wall in case she went aggro) and start covo with Hannag and switch to d) thief char
6. Resurrect d) thief behind Hannag and steal skill books, be mindful not to let lower bar in the Thievery System to go red
7. Pass Persuasion check and get quest Fairweather Friends
8. Killl Magister (gain XP) or kill Hannag by transmuting lava on her (Gain more XP)

Am I missing something? I just shot her twice with a bow and she died.

If you are on your first playthrough like I am, and Have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea what's transuming lava means lol (I'm pretty sure there are no lava near her :/), here how I do it.

How I Kill Hannag:

My character has higher wits than her (IMPORTANT).

Talk to her.

Convince her I'm helping.

Now you are not going to get one shot in her area.

Gang her up, and you must do all your best combo in one turn. Because you know that you don't want her to commit sudoku and ♥♥♥♥ worm holes.



You can talk to her using teleportation, although it would be great if one of your character (ideally the one with best persuasion skill) has some short of mobility move (i.e. tactical retreat, Phoenix dive etc.---which are I'm sure easier to get than lava thingy).

If you want more xp, kill the magisters too!

Terrain Transmutation is a rank-2 Polymorph spell and is typically available at one of the book vendors in town.
