Adramahlikh fight/ Lohse quest need help!
So I've stumbled across this fight and have lost Lohse everytime, however after looking into it, there seems to be some way to weaken him or prevent Lohse from being charmed with a quest that Malady helps you with. Looking further it seems you needed to get the name of the demon that's possessed Lohse while in Reaper's Cost. I never did this, couldn't figure out how since the journal just told me "there may be someone who can help on the main land".

So I killed the Advocate and moved on. Is there no way I can do this whole thing with Malady now? Am I just doomed to lose Lohse? Though people have mentioned a immunity to charmed helmet, but there is no info on where to get one. Any clarification would be super helpful, since the wiki only tells you how to do this if you've done the quest in Reaper's Coast. Unless that means that's the only way to do it and I'm ♥♥♥♥ed until I can get something to stop charmed...

Instead of looking for a helmet with immune to charm (there is a finess based unique and vendors can also randomly sell some), you can just craft a potion of strong will. It's still one of the harder fights in the game though, so be prepared either way. Fire resist potions, and lady kemm team can help a lot.

Thanks for the advice, I'll try that.

You aren't technically doomed to lose Lhose, there is a way to weaken the demon. If you don't do that, though, you'll need three turns to beat the boss or else Lhose is gone for good.

Don't bother looking for an "Immune to Charm" helmet, being immune to Charm that way actually could cause some very nasty glitches and so it was patched out to no longer work. Not sure if keeping "Peace of Mind" going on her would work either.

So I used a potion of strong will... but he still charmed her with his dialogue. Any way around that?

How do I weaken him then?

You could also just have Lohse stay away from the fight, you'll miss out on a tiny bit of dialogue, but the quest should update and you should be fine. I had to do the same thing for Sebille because I missed the time sensitive dialogue that she offers on the Nameless Isle as soon as you show up.

I've honestly never done the fight with lohse and not found out his name and weakened him, so I've never had her get mind controlled here. Walk me through what exactly happens step by step. If it's not immediately when battle starts, we might be looking at nuking him down.

That's the problem! Lohse is my strongest damage dealer. I've tried going about having her coming in and use thunder storm cuz that ♥♥♥♥ wrecks, and fleeing but she doesn't have the AP to do it, so it hasn't worked. I've reworked Sebille to be a summoner rather than a rogue since she usually dies turn two lol.

It's pretty easy to mess up if you're new to the game, If you do not learn the name from the tree on bloodmoon island, if you do not snuff out all the candles, and if you accidentally give in to the doctor too much with Lohse's dialogue, he will basically cast Dominate Mind on Lohse as soon as the magic armor disappears and this time it's permanent.

I've tested it myself in a playthrough to see what would happen, and yeah there is no work around other than leaving her out of the fight or super buffing her magic armor, although I have heard rumors that it can cast ignoring magic armor.

So what happens is I have her drink the potion on her first turn, and on the third or second turn Adram speaks to her and charms her. The potion lasts 4 turns, and I've seen it one her while he does it, so I'm just assuming this method is a lost cause. It sucks because I mentioned that Lohse is by biggest damage dealer, so missing her on the fight is brutal. Of course my geomancer does do pretty well, but her cooldowns put her out too often. And it seems that using Fane as a melee figher has the downside of him needing to get close to all the enemies to kill them... and then he gets rekt in a turn. Same with Sabille, being a rogue. I've respec'd Sebille as a summoner, but I don't think I have the gold to rework Fane into something else, nor do I want to since I like his game play style.

Yeah that spoiler bit I know, but the problem is I didn't learn the name on Bloodmoon Island, so I haven't had Malady show up to do this whole candle thing. It's annoying that this game can be so vague with it's quests at time because I honestly had no clue I could do Lohse's quest on Bloodmoon Island. I've seen things that suggest that saving Arhu will get Malady to show up, so I'm going to go see now. If not... well guess I'm doing this 3 man.

Here's my suggestion, first of all get rid of summoner for this fight as most the ground will be fire and he is resistant to fire by like 40%. If you're rocking magic damage, use 2 aero/hydro guys, and one geomancer/pyro. The aero/hydros will be dishing out damage, create a pool under them for the elemental affinity trait so they can cast 2-3 spells a turn. The geo/pyro is basically the tank, you'll want to cast the source ability that makes them immune to fire damage with some points in necro, aero and summoner for soul mate, tp, and the life steal. The link should provide some HP back to your damage dealers when the pyro gets hit by fire abilities, while you entangle the doctor and attempt to nullify his resistances and teleport him into terrible spots with the supporting geo/pyro. Eventually the doctor will constantly be either chain frozen/stunned or on fire from his own puddles. Everytime he sets himself on fire you simply cast spontaneous combustion on him to make him weak to getting frozen again. With this setup you should be able to do it with even just 2 people without lonewolf, I've done it though it was tough, and Lohse should be able to sit around at the square while talking to the locals and taking in the sights as her buddies kill her demon for her.

If gold is an issue for respeccing, well you should have been looting more haha, even without thievery I'm usually sitting at like 300k by act 4. But if you free Arhu, you'll get access to a place that should net you around 50-100k if looted completely, however I don't think Arhu causes Malady to show up because he has nothing to do with Lohse's quest.

A couple things:
-When you say you've "stumbled into" this fight, that's seems to suggest to me that maybe there's other things you could do. This is pretty much the hardest fight in the game--with the demon at full strength, I'd say it is the hardest fight in the game. So if you aren't level 20 with top tier gear for everyone, you might want to just leave this one and come back later.
-You don't have to kill the demon. You can form a pact with him, or just ignore this area entirely. This may result in some significant changes to the ending, however.
-You may be able to kill at least some of the nurses before fighting the demon himself. See if you can separate them away from the demon and kill them. At worst, you can initiate dialogue with just Lohse, but keep the rest of your party farther away... then just murder the nurses while Lohse is talking.

If you want Lohse to help in the fight a little bit, get her the talent that allows you to flee from battle anywhere, plus the Adrenaline skill (or even just give her glass cannon or whatever). Then you can use a bunch of your strongest skills and hopefully flee the battle at the end of the round.

Do you know how to get tea from lady kemm? It will reduce AP of all your team's moves by 2 (can't go to 0 AP) and can be drank in combat for no AP. That will allow her to use thunderstorm, and then get out, and do so easily if she has adrenaline.

You can also try to make her go invisible, with potion or chanterelle.

You can also have all team members simply go invisible on their turn, then delay (after lohse uses thunderstorm and books it) and have her exit combat, then pyramid in after restoring source and launch a second storm.

Skin graft and apotheosis scrolls are also easy enough to craft with source orb + animal skin + paper for skin graft, or source orb + puppet bead + paper for apotheosis, and they can allow you to spam some crazy stuff if you have adrenaline and get a couple of those skin graft scrolls.

And no matter what you end up doing, whether it's one of my tips here or someone else's, just be sure to do it at level 20 or 21 so you have as many resources as possible.
