Haste lasts for more than one turn. It's also usable on anyone within range, so a support-caster can use it on someone who is set up to take advantage of it.

As I said, it lasts for more than one turn, so it will leave you with an extra AP on turns after that one.

Haste on another character is somewhat like transferring your AP to them. If I cast Haste with my last AP on the next character to get a turn, they'll start off with an extra and keep it for the duration of the buff. Using it on yourself will give you another AP your next turn as well as a few turns after.

However, it also increases movement. This is the distance your character can cover per AP spent. A very useful thing for characters using The Pawn talent as it increases the free movement the talent offers.

if you want a lot AP get gardening mod from gift bag, and start growing Augmentor and Drudanae, you can make Ferocity Herbmix that gives you +2ap and +2 recovery. Pick few Void-Tainted Crimson Bream to upgrade it to Potent Ferocity Herbmix, that gives same effect but last 100 rounds and if that's not enough play fane and use his racial source skill to gain new turn, and craft some Skin Graft Scrolls to get unlimited turns.
