8 AP points not working (DE)

I tried verifying the game files, I tried making a new profile, I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game but the 8 AP points gift bag option just won't turn on, even when I turn it on individually. Any idea what's going wrong?

You should see a max of 8 AP dots. If you're not playing lone wolf you'll still only get 4 green points in the beginning of combat.

I know. However, whenever I turn on the 8 action points feature I still only have 6 action points.

Do you have any other mods that were installed other than the gift bag?

It doesnt give you 8 action points in combat.
It just means you can have a maximum of 8.
For instance if you start combat with 4 and skip a turn then the next round you will have 8.

I know. I didn't say that was the problem in the first place.

Don't use Larian's version. Use the DE version on Steam Workshop and put it at the very bottom of your load order.
