I'm pretty sure they're nonexistent or at least hidden under their scales. Yet, In Sadha's scene, it describes said breasts to be very visible indeed. Is it just a writing mistake or did they truly intend that?

quite indeed. as mankind recognize other's gender by how it looks - mostly big breast, body lines, smaller body, and face - regardless the scientific matter, its important for you people to see it visually / clearly. also its none exist, so dev could apply whatever lore they desire to.

what if I told you breast does not have to mean boobs? what if I told you one could have a shapely breast but not habe boobs? breast plate covers the breast area on men and women. in the game the liards don't have boobs but they have shapely breast in that they stick out as if they have boobs.

Apart from the fact that your grasp of rudimentary biology lead you to writing something so bizarrely incorrect that it could feature on "hot takes twitter", then sure, it's serious.

D:OS2 has "lizard breasts" because neckbeards couldn't deal with flat-chested lizard-woman avatars, that's it.

For the record, some lizards (mainly snakes) can give birth to live young: Viviparous vertebrates hold their eggs internally until hatching. So, technically, they don't really give birth, they just internalize the usual Egg > development > hatching process.

Oh, and the few egg-laying mammals that still exist (Monotremes) don't have breasts / nipples: they have ducts / glands that literally leak / extrude milk which isn't stored internally.
