Gwydian no where to be found after saving him.
So after like 3 hours of trying to save him the "normal way" to no avail (this dumbass keeps running into necrofire repeatitively), I saved him by teleporting that Quartermaster dude near the cave to the lower ground to aggro Magister Johnathon, and it worked.

After the battle my quest logs saids Gwydian was freed and has returned home, but I looked everywhere in Dark Pit there was no one, I did save his family from execution upon arrival in Black Pits but no, everyone has gone missing all of a sudden and Gwydian was no where to be found. The only person left in the whole town is that Dwarf kid that keeps saying "I'll be alright"

Is my quest bugged or have they moved to somewhere else? I'm playing the Definitive Edition not Classic.

the game is bugged maybe? i hate it when that happens. btw in the future you can crio stasus him, then living on the edge, then teliport, then necro swap or whatever its called and all of these can move him to safe areas where he wont die.

Their whole family simply vanished from Blackpits not even a corspe left behind. I already had like 5 hours of gameplay in so I don't wanna reload and start all over again.

I did teleport Goatdian to the lower ground btw with my party following him, but when the fire Voidlings came they keep exploding on him and Goatdian doesn't know how to get out of necrofire, Either he gets stuck in the fire or keeps running back to the Voidlings whenever I teleport him away. This quest is like impossible if you don't have the specific build/skills for necrofire treatment.

I was thinking they may have moved their home to elsewhere, but sincenobody have the answer, maybe my quest was glitched since I did it the cheesy way.

Whatever I'm moving on to Nameless Isle.
