Save Magister Siwan?

I read, when you save her, you get 800xp instead of the 100xp when you kill her. Is that true? And how can i wake her up?

I dunno about XP ammount, but about save siwan:

Short answer: You can´t save her
Long answer: When you arrive to the boat, the kids requests you for go down and search survivors. You go down and Stomps insects. At the end of fight you can go with siwan and try to revive her. But, when it seems that she awakens, the big Kraken destroys the ship. And Siwan goes to sleep with fishes
