Definitive includes the Standard Edition.
ok i get that, but what about mods and game play experience from said mods
i read in a mod, that mods themselves are not compatible with each seperate edition so is it worth the 12 or so dollars more to be able to use more mods?
Which one is the Enhanced Edition? Can you link Steam Store page for it?
If you mean this one, then this is DOS1, different game:

screenshot of what i am talking about
If the mod is for DOS2 Standard Edition you can use it when you pick Standard Edition when starting the game, and if the mod is for DE then you can also use it but you need to pick DE when starting the game.
You basically get 2 (slightly) different games - SE and DE. These are not compatible and use different saves and also different mods.
As already said Divine Edition is Definitive Edition (which includes Standard Edition) + some digital extras (art, pictures, soundtrack). These extras have no effect on the game itself.
AWESOME TY FOR THE REPLY
but which edition should i start playing [NO SPoileRS please] SE or DE (1st time player of the entire series btw)
