How long till the end?
My buddy and I just wrapped up Reaper's Coast and went to the next zone.

We're both almost lvl 17 and the new island seems tiny, almost smaller than even the Fort Joy one, and we're steamrolling it on Tactician. Are we nearing the end? How much more gameplay can we expect?

Asking because we're playing online coop but I'm planning to visit him abroad this Spring and we'd like to finish the game locally as it is our good tradition since DOS1.
So maybe it would be a good idea to stop now and resume when I visit, or is there still more content than the territory we see?

There is a final destination after the Nameless Isle. Hard for me to guess how many hours it would take you and your friend for either location; I've never played coop.

Yep I know there's another one, but I thought the last-but-one would be slightly bigger. We've barely spent an hour there and unlocked almost the entire map.

To put it differently: what level were you when you finished the game?

End game level is 20. Maybe 21/22 if you really scraped every single source of xp.
The Nameless Islands is the smallest location you visit. Next chapter is longer, with a bigger map.
You still have some hours in front of you.

You've got 7 temple locations and maybe 5 fights not attached to them
Should take you 5-10 hours to clear.

Arx has about 15 fights total with 4 of them being real kickers if you aren't ready for them.
Arx can take 5-20 hours, pending speed and all that.

act one is about 25% of the game. Act two, 35% and act 4 is roughly another 25%. The act you're in, act 3 is pretty small at only roughly 15%. You're more than halfway, but still have more to go. Hopefully that should give you a rough idea. It isn't exact as you can get stuck in some areas or simply progress slower, but that should help get an estimate.
