It does have PvP but not a lot of people play it, but don't worry, the pve campaign is long and has a lot of challenge to it too, so you will feel the need to strategize.

That may be part of it, but to be honest, the game just isn't designed for or marketed to a PvP audience.

It's more of a neat extra and clearly not the main focus of the game is why. Most people who are buying this game are looking for an extensive singleplayer or co-op campaign, and the fact that this game has a PvP Arena mode isn't even mentioned anywhere on the Store page or in the game's trailer.

Havent played much of it myself, but probably because the game isnt made for it, often it will feel like you're at a disadvantage if everyone is playing as one character (You'll be controlling multiple in the solo campaign, or playing with friends), its just a lot more engaging to play together, rather than individually against eachother.

I mean, I didn't even really know what the PvP was, or even that the game had it to begin with. This isn't a game you'd buy for its PvP though. I've never actually played the Arena PvP mode, but considering the game mechanics and how the PvP that can occasionally pop up in the story can go, I wouldn't really consider it fantastic. Arena might change things to balance it, I don't know if it does, but I can't imagine it to be something you'd play more than a few times.
