Mods on DE - Can't see them
Hi, I'm having issues using the mods from the Workshop. I subscribe to them, but can't see them on Definitive Edition mod list ingame.

Is there something that needs to be done firstly before using class mods?

Having the same issue. I can't load any mods or addons right now, either through workshop or nexus. Good to know I'm not the only one and/or going crazy.

Any fix to this?

That second folder contains all of the .pak files for the mods, but not the subfolder structure for each mod found in the workshop content folder. I've copied the subfolder stucture as well, and this appears to have corrected the issue. Thank you!

This is a band-aid solution at best. Yes, it works, but the issue then becomes that whenever a mod author updates their mod, Steam will update the file inside the 435150 folder, but the version inside the actual Larian Studios mod folder will be the old version. This can cause issues with multiplayer games when one person has a different version of a mod. What really needs to happen is that the bug that causes the .pak files to go into the wrong folder in the first place needs to be fixed. I remember this exact same issue happening when D:OS2 first launched, and it seems it's back for the DE. Larian needs to fix this.

Alright, I think I may have found a solution, it worked for me anyhow. I forced Steam and the game to re-download all workshop content from scratch. This is what I did:

-I manually went through my Steam workshop subscriptions and unsubbed from everything that wasn't for the DE. This is probably not strickly necessary, I just wanted to tidy up
-Go into your Steam directory and find the workshop folder for DOS:2. The path should look something like Drive (C:)->Program Files->Steam->steamapps->workshop->content->435150
-Delete the 435150 folder. Make a backup if you're nervous, but it's not necessary
-Go to Documents->Larian Studios->Divinity Original Sin 2 DE->Mods, and delete everything inside
-Now fire up the game. When you first click on the Mods menu option, it will show up as empty, but if you exit out of the mod menu then back in, you should start seeing the list slowly being populated as Steam re-downloads everything.
-Once the mod list is fully populated, see how many mods there are, and compare it to the number of files/folders in your DOS:2 mods folder, and the 435150 folder. For me, I had 45 mods in my in-game list, and the same number of files/folders in the other two locations. This last step isn't strickly necessary, but I like it for peace of mind and knowing that everything is where it should be.
