Any different or interesting skill combos or build ideas?
I played the classic version twice when it first came out and now i want to try something else for the updated version. (what character has what doesnt matter)

From what i remember my first playthrough looked like this.

Fane: Necomancy + metamorph
Lohse: Summoning + Water/ice
Ifan: Archery + geomancy
Red Prince: Warfare + Lightning + Fire

For my second game i had.

Loshe: Warfare + Necromancy
Sebile: Scoundrel + Metamorph
Beast : Warfare + Geomancy
Fane: Water + Lightning

Any idea for what i can do for my 3rd game? (definitive edition) Not interested in anything like Lone Wolf. I like having a full party for the story.

If you want something that will feel significantly different try going with 4 mages. Don't put points into warfare, scoundrel, huntsman or poly.

Go with:

geo + pyro
aero + hydro
geo + hydro
summoning + geo + pyro + aero + hydro

The first three max out their 2 schools of magic. The summoner only invests 2 or 3 into each of the elemental magics for utility and cc, while maxing out summoning.

You can also mix it up on gear. Have 1 use a staff, 1 dual wand, and the other two can go wand + shield.

Gotta have poly for that lovely chicken claw.

Aero and Poly is a surprisingly fun combo. Turn on Blinding Radiance and Medusa Head and get into the middle of a group of enemies. Another "aura" build I've tried out was Geo and Hydro (continually restore both armor types on allies nearby), which also worked pretty nicely.

In both cases only a pretty low investment into the actual elemental skills is required to be effective, leaving you free to add something else.

Yep. Scoundrel/Poly with Torturer talent is brutal. Start by delaying your turn. When you get to act again, Backslash behind the target, hit them with Sever Tendons and maybe Serrated Blade. This should clear all or most of their physical armor while applying two nasty damage statuses thanks to Torturer. And because you delayed, you're almost certainly going to act again before your target, so you'll then get to slap Chicken Claw on them. Since chickens have to run away they'll eat a ton of damage from Sever Tendons (and probably a backstab attack of opportunity, because what melee backstabber wouldn't take opportunist?)...
