How to kill trolls ? divinity original sin 2

So .... I spent lots of time trying to kill them .. but found a simple way ! you need terrain transformation skill (Polymorph 2) and all you have to do its to move the lava from the ruined building to under trolls feet (use that skill about 4 times)

and start a fight with him , he dies instantly after he used his turn

this trick works for the giant boss thing too

Didn't think of that. Not really sure where you mean as i was only up to level 16 act 2 when DE dropped, but i'd attacked the level 18 troll on the bridge and he wiped my team. For some strange reason i'd forgotten the universal laws of trolls in so much as they nearly all regenerate their health and that fire really stuffs them up and i didn't even have a pyro party member as i was running a 3/1 phys/magic split and my mage was aero/hydro.

What i thought i'd try was to waypoint around a little and gather up some oil barrels and then place them all near the troll and blow them up. Didn't get to try it 'cause DE finished downloading the same time i was going to try it and i just rerolled DE.

I do like the terrain transformation idea though and i'm going to keep that in mind. Cheers.

By knowing their weakness so they cant regen and then beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of em

I abused the taunt system and the stun system, also summoned everything I could summon downed them both at level 15, pretty easy fight.

Ya. Not sure how i would've went on take 2 'cause yeah i rerolled DE the same time after i wiped. Tbh that troll fight was the last party wipe i had that i can remember. Usually even when worst comes to worst i can limp one guy from the battle and get the gang back together. I'm not a fan of savescumming the battles so to speak.

Looking forward to round 2 this run.
