Bishop Alexander's head

So I'm on the Nameless Isle. I killed Bishop Alexander. However he did not leave a corpse for me to loot. What do?

I believe I may have bugged the game with my saves, I ate Alexander's head without realising it would close the quest. So I reloaded to kill him again and now he drops nothing.

There is a magister in that fight who netherswaps Alexandar's corpse almost every run I do. Check around the platforms above to the side of where he originally is at pre fight.

Yep, his corpse had moved to the top right platform. I ended up consuming his source and the corpse exploded again. That was lucky. :D Thanks.
