Raining Blood Spell?
Hi guys. I have been reading guides/wiki on Div OS2. Anyway, I read that near end of game I need the Raining Blood Spell for a puzzle. Unfortunately, I am past Fort Joy area where that Spellbook was located. Is there anything I can do? Help greatly appreciated :)

I'm fairly certain I know what part you are talking about, and you do not need raining blood. The puzzle in question just requires you to get blood on the ground in a specific spot. While raining blood will do this, so will an elf using flesh sacrifice (maybe more than once, it's a medium sized area that needs blood and you can't directly stand on it) or you can do it by physically smacking an ally with no physical armor left.

Now that that's out of the way, you seem to be unaware of how to make a raining blood book. Raining blood is a combo skillbook that you can craft. You do so by combining any necromancy skillbook with any hydrosophist skillbook. As long as the skills for each do NOT require source to use, you will end up with a raining blood skillbook. If either of the two combined skillbooks DO require source to use, you will get a bloodstorm skillbook, which requires 4AP and 3 SP to use and nukes the field for 3 turns.

You can combine any magic (pyro/geo/aero/hydro) skillbook with any non magic (warfare/huntsman/poly/necro/scoundrel/ summoning) skillbook and you will get a new combination skillbook that requires points in each of the two skills. AND each combo has a source and non source based variant, meaning there are 48 craftable skillbooks to be made this way.

Scroll down a bit here and there is a chart that will show you all of the possible combinations

Is it worth starting game over to get the book in Fort Joy? So far, have been playing game with no companions, solo character.

No, you can make it. And it's not needed.

man you can get it even now use CRAFTİNG and bam its yours

here is the recipe:

any hydrosopist skill book + any necromancer skill book = raining blood

also its not that useful

( btw how are you able to play the game with no companion :o )

Even if you playing as undead solo, you can make blood puddles without this spell or any investment (Fane's mask). Or you can buy generic companion (not undead obviously) on ship, and sacrifice him (joke. just 1 hit after he lost armor will be enough).
