Unfortunately this would disable achievements though.
Thankfully, respeccing is free and can be done as many times as you want once you unlock the option, unlike in the first game where it was a pain in the ass and you could only do it late game (that's one thing I like more in DOS 2)
I would not advise rushing through the swamp because there's actually quite a lot to see and do, and once you leave Fort Joy you can't go back; the game will automatically close any unfinished quests forever. Plus there's a couple of things you can do to make the climactic fight easier...which going by what you've got going on, you'll need as much help as possible.
One thing that I found out recently was that any of your characters can learn as many spells as they want, so long as they meet the pre requisites. The only thing memory does is how many spells you can have ready for battle at once. You can switch out spells outside of combat. While that's not exactly a solution, it's a stopgap until you can respec. If your points on your characters are all spread out and you don't really have any focuses, well, just try to get by until then. There's some pretty good early spells you can nab to make life a lot easier (Teleport/Gloves of Teleportation, Fireball is a lovely 2 point fire AOE, and if you have a summoner, Conjure Incarnate and the infusions are handy. Battle stomp is great once you've knocked out armor)
Don't forget to craft, loot, and sell...combining two small health potions makes a bigger one. You'll find some new vendors before long too which will help.
