Burst damage has always been the culprit for nerf this nerf that.
So a dot effect is hardly what could be considered op.
It does improve further fire damage by burning tho , so this could be taken into consideration
but still talent is way beter then it was before.
i remember one of our guys creating a powerfull build in classic and all of us going, ok he broke the game time to go tactician because he killed all the enemies in about 1 turn...
the tier 1 warrior talents, the hard knockdowns, can be used with any sort of melee weapon, even a staff
you strip physical armor then just chain CC anything into oblivion. they havnt addressed a single issue with the combat and any sort of min max completely breaks the game
♥♥♥♥ theres a dude that does a non-lone-wolf solo playthrough and it just involves hard knockdown and reset mechanics so you never get touched
And it's not like it allows you to bypass armor for CC - you still can't charm, knock down etc., dots aren't THAT powerful to begin with. To be honest, I find the game's combat far more tolerable with it. Before it just felt like you are wasting skills getting through armor, because a lot of skills have dots, but they didn't apply. Now you feel like every move actually does something.
