Though I agree Lora could do with a better AI, he comes back as a ghost if he dies. Also there are already at least two mods that buff him and give you the ability to resurrect him (and the cat).

Also there are several threads on this topic. Do a search before venting your frustration/posting.
I thought the cat became your ally when you get out of fort joy? (You get the ability to summon him)
I certainly remembered that or was I high?

I lost a good keyboard this way rage quitting.

I was spitting hot coals at that point and split my keyboard in 2.

I'm honestly amazed I'll be the first to say this - you shouldn't be getting so angry at a game. Maybe go play something less likely to aggravate you.

It's completely unnecessary to keep him alive. Light SPOILER : if he dies you'll meet his spirit in the hall of echoes and he'll following you around and continue his quest as a ghost.

In any case, there's Pet Revival mod.

If you keep the cat alive until you leave Fort Joy it leaves you, giving you a summon cat spell as a farewell gift.

so far i honestly havent had a hard time.
he runs away from fights and generally stays out of your way.
he died once and that was on the ship when i was fooling around and had the ship set me on fire.
thats the only time he died for me.
althoug i bet hell die at the blackpitts fight as that whole area will be set on fire

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you must be the exception to the vast majority who lose him at the drop of a hat.
after having completed the game, if you wanna keep sir lora alive on arx you basicly have to avoid some quests. mainly the deathfog one as he will almost certainly die there

There are 2 deathfog fights. One can be done without your main (near the Lady Vengeance). The one with Isbeil have to be done very carefully, better in the pit if you turn it to blessed fire.Sir Lora is welcome to run all over it :pawscub1:
