Does Sir Lora have a point?
I just got out of fort joy. the cat becomes a skill, but Sir Lora stays around and is particularly fragile. I just killed him by leading him through traps on purpose because I was tired of babysitting him. is he important in any way?

There is a whole quest for him for what I heard.
But you need pet pal for it and that's annoying

So, completely useless to me as Pet pal takes up a precious Talent slot. Rest in pieces useless rodent.

I uninstalled the DLC bc I didn't want to deal with him and he still showed up lol

Sir Lora killed himself with the TP they have given him (so he can stay close to the PC)... he escaped combat by running through fire, then gets out of range and TP's back, then runs through fire again to escape, reoeats process over again and again again again >>>> death by TP

Sorry, I found this funny as heck because, to me, TP is "toilet paper". I got what you meant, but my first image there was hilarious.

Does Sir Lora interfere with Lone Wolf?

I thought since he had a sword/helmet in a picture that he was gonna become a companion to use in the game, very lackluster dlc if it's another black cat annoyance, and not even a summon. That's just lazy.

I guess he died, but I never saw it, or the devs have done something to fix him, or maybe it was supposed to happen...

Because now I have a spirit Sir Lora that follows me! No more taking damage so no more babysitting him!

There is quite a few questlines you will miss out on without petpal. prior to DE version you needed petpal on RED to access all of the quests, now you need it for lora also. Sadly, you need petpal on main char to access lora, which I hope is a mistake. Ifan as a companion get free petpal bonus, so I would love to make use of this instead of respeccing ifan in mirror for free talent.

I thought they removed that months ago?

:D Now I can never take Sir Lora seriously

He has quests and some ♥♥♥♥ about a great acorn and stopping the squirrel apocalypse. The problem is that may sound compelling but it is effectively a full game babysit quest. The little ♥♥♥♥ is nothing like the cat familiar AI. He is dumb as a brick. He will ignore every surface in an attempt to get at his main character, unlike the cat that makes a conscious effort to avoid AOE.

He has extremely low health and he is damaged in real time making it near impossible to intervene to protect him in fights. His stupidity almost always ends with his death in fights that abuse elemental area of effect moves. (which is virtually every fight) It's even more of a pain when it's something like necrofire etc which is harder to dissipate.

Truly it annoys the ♥♥♥♥ out of me knowing he was a pre-order bonus that we can actually lose through no fault of our own. Plus it is a game long babysit quest. He can survive beyond ACT 1. The problem is most lose him on the ship because it's one big aoe fest.

The quest lasts the whole game? Ah hell. I thought I was doing well just getting him through fort Joy.

They need to buff him so he at least has a good chunk of armour and shielding

Alternatively allow him to be resurrected.

They did, it was an obvious bug which was quickly patched out, but that hasn't stopped people from mistakenly making the claim that Ifan still gets it for free.
