Lone wolf nerf in patch notes - someone explain
Lone Wolf nerfs (can't increase attributes and combat abilities past 40 or 10 respectively anymore).

Am i misunderstanding this, can you not put in more then 10 points overall and then itll get doubled to 20 still or is it implying you cant put in more then 5 points and the double will max at 10 on ability points? this seems like a severe hindrance more then anything or am i just stupid because now it seems you will basically be a jack of trades now with this limit.

Im pretty sure lone wolf just got nerfed the ♥♥♥♥ and back honestly. Im sure there will be a mod to change this but i dont understand the logic of this at all now basically any true build you want is out the window.

From what I read it means it will double points up until you have 40 total, after which you will only get single point gains per point spent.

It shouldn't be impacting until late game and still not by much.

That cant be right because that literally conflicts with the patch notes, can you link what you read please?

Pretty sure you just can't surpass the 40 stat point cap.

Well this is going to ♥♥♥♥ up so many lone wolf builds that it literally might just be better to always party up.

Lone Wolf abilities and attributes are now capped at normal caps

Currently Lone Wolves can increase attributes and combat abilities through soft caps of 40 and 10 points respectively. In Definitive Edition, this is blocked: double point bonus only brings points to the cap and not above it.

The way I read these notes, the bonus stops when you get to 40 but it's not a hard cap. They specifically mention a soft cap in the first sentence and don't reference that it is changed. Rather the notes suggest the double bonus only applies up to the cap at which point the "double bonus" stops; not necessarily your stat gains. This would imply it will be single point gains after 40, per attribute.

I can see how this can be ambiguous. I guess we'll have to wait until someone tests it. Easy to do with a mod.

Lone Wolf can't go above 10 in skills now - before, you were able to have, for instance, 20 in Summoning, now you can only have 10, but it only costs you 5 points as opposed to 10 points without Lone Wolf.

No problem.
Cause the changes are nothing new . Try using the search button?
Besides you went offtopic on your own thread.

xD

Thats kind of what i was thinking i just had hoped it wasnt true just means a lot of builds are going to have to make immense changes and im not sure its worth lone wolf now is my issue.

You are aware the patch and changes about lone wolf have been out some time ago now ?

In addition you went offtopic on your own thread and not expect others to do the same.
Must say your avatar fits you well.

How stupid can you get.
