How do you beat the doctor
He's just immune to everything except necromancy and apples aren't doing anything

Don't let a certain character in your party being possessed.

Do you have a Lohse in your party ?

He's not immune to everything though? Why are you thinking he is?

I jumped the nurses before I actually fought the doctor.

Or in other words, "take out the adds first."

If you have points in polymorph, learn the Equalise spell, it's really useful at the beginning of the fight. Also the unique shield "Rutoma Rivelleis" can give you the spell.

I had a real tough time with this one lol! I was using two magic user lonewolves. Movement and teleportation was the biggest allies for me. However, having potions and recovery spells helped too. I would attack with AOE spells and move away from the enemy. If they got close and I had little movement, I would teleport them or my character. The more movement they have to get to you, the less action points they have to use to harm you. By the time I was done with the combat, I was pretty far from the Doctor's house lol!

Definitely one of the most difficult fights in game. Not impossible though.

Full physical party should not have much issues. Try to get rid of his minons first and before Doctor's turn make sure to have Flaming Skin on both characters. Pre-buff before fight, spam Living on the Edge and Death wish, make sure to have plenty of those scrolls.

As soon as minions are gone, simply try to CC the big dudester. Chicke Claw scrolls, use them every turn as soon as his armour is stripped. if you have mage party - Medusa Head then. At least he will skip one turn.

Skin Graft will help as well.

I also have teleported him behind the doors (near his basement with the dead bodies), which was pre-covered with web. Basically he wastes a bunch of turns just to reach the doors. This way my party only had to fight minions and by the time Doctor got out, they all were dead.

Living on the edge+ Revive Totem cheese helped me in my honor mode battle with him ( Without having Lohse).

That's a good idea. I have webbed him in place before, but hadn't tried teleporting him into webbing behind a closed door. That right there is the kind of thinking that people need when they complain about the game being too hard.

Where the heck is Jahan in this fight?

Jahan: "I will deal with this doctor. You already have the far more difficult quest ahead of you"
Jahan: "Yep, but no seriously. I will fight the doctor. You go do your thing"
Jahan: "Yes sir, setting sail to deal with the doctor now"
Jahan: "Here we are. Arx. I am off to fight the doctor"

Me getting my butt reamed by a ward full of nurses: "%#@%ing Jahan..."

The dude literally just falls off the face of the earth never to be seen again. No epilogue. Nothing!

Super important: don't forget to either close the door or break line of sight some other way so he would not see you. Closing the door would be easier since he is just locked up in the conversation if you teleport him. Attitude -20 pops up and then he says something, I think :D

Game is really not very hard, there are so many ridiculously good tools to let you win ^__^

Yeah, it's weird. Also, if you have Lohse in the party, he actually will be there, but he is kind of... useless. You can find him in the Doctor's basement. Also sometimes you can find another character there, based on your choices in Act 2.

I didn't realize there was a basement. Alas. Maybe next playthrough.

And jump the doctor without talking to him. If you take out his armor and CC him in your first attack, he never transforms and dies easily.

Once I had initiative higher than him. I played as a Rogue. He never got a chance to transform :D
