Am i behind on source slots?
I have only 1 source slot and im about 20% into the act with driftwood. Im watching videos of people having multiple slots before they leave fort joy... I did everything on the island. what am i missing?

AFAIK you're supposed to unlock Source Points in the middle of Act 2 at the conclusion of quest chains i.e characters would be around level 11 or 13 on average at the time of completion.

Having more than 1 Source Point is probably because of mods.

Agreed. In Act 2, talk to the woman who teaches you about Source, then pursue the possible ways throughout the act to gain points. You can have a max of 3 Source in Act 2 but I believe there are 6 potential ways to gain a new point.

At 20% of the way through Act 2, you sound right on track.

It's just that if you know what you are doing you can very quickly rush to the 3 Source slots (or if you are "lucky" to find them). I've heard ways to rush them and tried some and you really can get them stupidly fast if you know where to look and have decent enough builds.

All in all you shouldn't worry about it, by the time you leave Driftwood you will have your 3 slots anyway. And in my opinion Source points is the worst feature of the game (how it's handled at least). I wish it was a one per battle system that refills automatically (and hope they found something for the DE). Because as it is you can refill at the end of every fight if you want and it feels just wrong and stupid.

U can make a deal with the demon . And well u can do allready at the start of act 2 if im not mistaken.

Defenetly easiest way to get a source point early
