[MAJOR SPOILERS] I need help with a decision.

So i'm playing thorugh the game with a friend, and we are against each other. Him being good while I play an evil character sworn to the god king.
But I have reached the point where the god king has ordered me to release deathfog into arx which would kill everyone and my friend for that matter. I was wondering if there is any way to get around this without breaking the vow I have taken to the god king?

I mean, if you’re not on honor mode, save and try it. I’m willing to bet that you can find a way to get your friend through. Might need a res scroll or two.

I was more wondering about if I could get around it and not do it while still being sworn to the god king. Since it's my friends first playthrough, I don't really wants to ruin the entire city.

I doubt it. The God King isn’t exactly someone you get to argue with.

Will maybe have to load a new save or try to walk away from the deathfog machine without interacting with it and see what happens.

Given what happens to Mordus just by asking him who gave him his power... not entirely sure if walking aw... do it. See what happens and let’s just hope it works out. I mean, if your friend wrecks the machine first or something, it might have another path. Not entirely sure if going with the God King was the best choice to keep things uncomplicated for his first time though XD

Yea I just confirmed it. If you try to walk away even without interacting with the machine, the god king will permenently curse you xD

I’ve heard that death cures that curse, but I’ve never been in the situation to test that myself.

If you release the death fog it's not like the entire city is coverd in it there is just patches of it all over the city and city traders are dead there is a staff under the magister barracks that has Tornado on it that can also clear death fog clouds away.
