Basically, Damage = Base Damage x (1 + attributebonus + weaponskillbonus + prettymucheveryotherbonus) x (1 + elementalschoolbonus) x (1 + heightadvantagebonus) x (critdamage)
What this means is that if you have, say, 30 in the relevant attribute, thus 100% bonus from the attribute, then a 70% damage bonus will increase your damage from 200% to 270%, or a 35% increase, instead of the expected 70% increase.
