Invisibility is useless?
Started a new playthrough today i am actually "negatively surprised" (because other words are banned that would describe my feelings perfectly) because invisibility (Chameleon Cloak) doesnt seem to work at all. I cast it at the beginning of my turn and move my character to a random position, and enemy wizards cast fire at that exact position to reveal my character... How in the world do they know?!

In all other cases Invisibility is very strong spell. But not in enemy hands - you could see shaders of their weapons or just do some rain).

P.S. wasn't you burning or smthing?
Sir Lora is near you? (enemy focusing Sir Lora, not you. So if you want to play with chameleon spell - just kill Sir Lora)

Sometimes they throw spells at random locations, you were unlucky.
You can't really blame that feature.

@Roamer.GFX well Sir Lora can be the cause. But does he get teleported into the fort joy arena? If so, then he was the problem.

This is most likely the case, aside from random bad luck. Opponents will cast spells, generally attack, Sir Lora. If he's near you, you will get caught in any AOE.

Now would to call one of the most unbalanced abilities in game USELESS

It was Sir Lora. If the enemy can’t attack you, they’ll attack him. I use invisibility very often, and even when I’m on fire, I’ll remain undetected.

That is exactly what I do when an enemy goes invisible.

This game is famous not only for doing things players would do, but also for teaching players a few new ideas.

Surfaces that damage you will break your invisibility.

Try Chameleon Cloak with Spread Your Wings.

So you immediatly spam your aoe on the spot where the guy started his turn with chameleon cloak and moved around?

Dude, you said that you started a new playthrough, the implication there being that you've played through the game at least once before, and you state quite forcefully that "(Chameleon Cloak) doesnt seem to work at all".

Comeon now, is that a serious statement or are you just having a whinge? Surely you know it works and works well.

I use it all the time, a couple of the most knowlegeable and experienced Divinity 2 players that i've seen on these forums are telling you it works you just fell victim to happenstance, other players who i'm sure are all knowledgeable as well are telling you it works, mate it works.

It's also regarded as one of the handiest utility spells in the game. I know i use it myself every other battle to position at least one or more of my characters, or to hide a vulnerable one. That spell is a life saver and a handy attack utility. You can even run past enemy mobs with it. I take it on nearly all 4 party members.

Having Sir Lora and that stupid cat is incredibly detrimental to solo/Lone Wolf playthroughs. Why they are forced on you is beyond me.

Like Roamer.GFX said, you can just kill him mate. The little weirdo will just tag along in spirit form, or you can dismiss. I don't know about the dismiss him part though as i just let the little runt tag along. He seems to enjoy himself lol..

And even though he is dead he still gives you the stuff he is scripted to give you as go.
