Kraken in the harbour weirdness

So after removing the armour off the kraken in the harbour, I popped a knockdown arrow to give my Red Prince some breathing room...and the fight just ended, even though the big oaf had ~9k HP left. He took his last tentacle with him, too.

There have been some occasions where a fight ends then immediately starts again (someone gets CC'd or falls out of range or something,) but it seems like this isn't one of those cases.

Is this a bug?

I removed all of the tentacles and then he also left. Where sure I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up there and lost a achivment.

You're not supposed to kill the kraken at the harbour (its possible though), you'll get another chance to kill him.
