Blood adds Physical Damage.
The target must be standing in the surface not the player
Only works with basic attacks and special Arrows, not Skills
Yup
I have to choose between this and all skilled up for +1 point in huntsman, but elemental ranger sounds better (except when using special abilities).
The only downside is it sometimes heals the target standing on its own element, but at least we can respec before such fights in DoS 2.
If you go with all skilled up, only put the point in huntsman if you need it for more skills. Warfare will help you deal more damage.
Yeah thx, I know that.
It sounds counter intuitive to give warfare to a ranger, but that's the best for damage strangely.
Well every physical character in my party maxed out warfare, even the rogue, but at least he can use some warfare skills (that all work with backstabs, even if this is not specified on the skill 's description)
My ranger is lvl 18, alwready maxed out Warfare, now doing huntsman.
I do prefer unique talents as well, but he alwready has all he needs:
- Pet Pal
- Hot Head
- Excecutioner
- Picture of health
He is more a physical, and I do have a mage but as a summoner/buffer.
I sometimes use the summon infusions, totems and some earth and ice CC for elemental damage on targets weak to magic, but not often enough to justify taking this talent.
Thx all
Fantastic way to cheese yourself some very good equipment. Not to mention a strong STR armor unique buried nearby that offers 3 memory and other useful stats.
I used to have him as a support character, mostly with geo and hydro spells, plus teleport, clear mind and hast.
The summons were the ones dealing elemental damage with infusions.
But I admit I sometimes don't know what to do with him, he's not always usefull since my team can handle the rest on their own.
So I hesitate to make him a Geo/pyro DPS now.
But no shield so he'll be very fragile.
And i'll have tog et rid of lots of memory and spells if I want to max out intelligence.
