Honor Mode: I died on the final battle
What a game, enjoyed every minute of it. Well over 100 hours of careful exploration, decision making, and i was bested in the battlefield at the final battle. Avoided death So.Many.Times. Thanks for making such a great game!

Its funny, once you make it that far and play for that long, death is something you can't get mad at. Try it! It makes the game feel very "real", although you have to have patience since its just 1 life!

Thats tragic in the most beautiful way possible. Such a fitting ending for what I can only imagine as a stroll through tactical hell. Well done.

Good god man I like hard challanges in games as much as the next person but there is no way In hell I could play a game this huge with only one life to nerve racking.

Well in reality dying on honor mode is almost imposible,
You can escape combat and return later in 99% of situations,

1. You have perk that allows to escape with a button press any time,
2, Chameleon cloack.
3. Pyramids

You really have to go out of you way to actually get wiped on honor,

This is true, I had all the perks to escape death, perhaps that was my undoing in the final battle, but its almost nessicary so that you don't lose your mind. Still, you can die quite easily if you explore with all 4 members at once. There are a couple instances which I won't name that if I didn't just take 1 guy, I would have had a party wipe!

Omg...that is terrible. Somehow my save file (which doesn't exist anymore) didn't have the time played on it? But my gf has 25 hours in her game so that would have made my file around 175 hours.

nah it's due to steam cloud that ruined my save file, that's why I disable it forver.

I rmember trying to get through honor mode. Died twice in act 4, once on a death fog trap in the sewers right after the fight with Isbel, and then during the fight with the doctor (my first time fighting him and didn't have Lohse to debuff him). Third time through I managed to get it, and it was so much more satisfying that way.

Hence my hyperbolic 99% argument,
First divinity had certain teleporting boss that could drop your whole party into the lave lake. Really unfair noob trap that would end a lot of honor runs,

Just buy chanterelle (spelling?) whenever available. Going invis for 5 turns is just as good as being out of combat, and doesn't waste talents.
