Need Help, Undergeared in Driftwood.
Not complaining here, just kind of screwed myself, I'm poor and my average level for gear is lvl 4. Honestly have no idea how I survived on the Lady Vengeance lmao. So basically my party is lvl 9 and they are all getting one-hit. I need help, any ways of making quick cash or any loot stashes near Driftwood? Any tips are welcome too haha and don't bother being cheeky, I already know I gotta git gud ;p

I can recommand simply robbinb evey vendor on the lady vengeance blind by respecing into thievery on every charakter and stealing from them. Do the same to every lone merchant that isnt at a place with a million others constantly looking around and youll be swimming in gold quite soon.

Interesting..... could I respec one of my people to thievery and polymorph and buy them the camo spell? would that just let me steal things in plain sight? haha there was something in the original game like that itd be so funny to do again.

The difficulty of going camo to steal is the short time window you have. Though, if you just want gold, it would defenitly work.

I started stealing only gold a little while ago. Wearing stolen equipment can be a problem when someone searches you. Just have a dedicated trader who has high barter skill, and is also friendly with the major traders. (you lose a little gold at first, but pays off on the long run)

I also found it very hard stealing from the people in the square, but there are plenty of people you can steal from in undertavern....

if you give me your team build i can tell ya a awesome weapon you can get for each one of them without having to do much fighting. Stealing is all well and good but the best stuff is usually the uniques.

Spoilers!!

fighte when you are walking up to the ruined sorc wagon there is a 2 handed axe in the chest. After that your next big upgrade you can get is lohar hammer which has 20 percent crit. You get that after finishing mordus which should be your first stop. For a bow your best bet is the lute merchant who is a lil ways from where siva is hanging out. You need high persuade but if you succeed she sales bows that can have like 20 percent crit on them . Enchanter sadly you will have to buy that one.Good idea would be to journey to jahan he normally sells better caster gear than what you can find at driftwood and if you have 4 thieving you can rob him blind quite easily . Scoundrel I believe the arena lady drops some great daggers. IF not her the annoying dwarg guarding the underground entance has good weapons and is easy to steal from. There is also ethne a undead merchent who is south of where jahan is at. She sales a great belt and is alone so easy to steal from.

Lastly there is a dwarf begging for money if you flirted with butters or at least talked to her she will give you gloves with 2+ thieving which will make your thieving life alot easier lol
