{STORY SPOILERS} Are the Seven gods considered evil?
So this question has been on my mind since discovering the truth about the gods and their sundering of the Veil that protects Rivellon from the Void, thus taking said Veil and making themselves gods. For what they did, even after creating the races of the world, would/should they be considered evil for their actions?

I suppose I'm asking from a philosophical standpoint, and a stance that makes me dislike the Seven for essentially endangering Rivellon with what they've done even after the Veil's discovery by Fane. But even from that stance, should the Seven be punished for their arrogance and hubris in taking something that, by lack of rights, was not theirs to take?

Essentially, yeah. They are evil(ish). They just do what benefits them, and don't care that they drain the source and life force of their creations to live. They aren't evil for the sake of evil, but because they directly benefit from evil acts. So like one step down from what I consider "pure evil."

They’re not evil so much as selfish. They do what they want, how they want, when they want. I’m fairly certain that you were never going to be a god, that they were literally having you collect source to sustain them, hence them living in your soul or whatever. Then, once you took all the source to become divine, they’d take over your body using the strength of all that source. They took control in some conversations, so them taking full control later isn’t hard to believe. That’s the major significance of act 3’s ending, you kill the god inside you.

This is a matter of opinion, people that are scared will say that they are evil. They did it for the greater good i will say!

There is nothing evil about them.

They are selfish and only care about themselves and maintaining their power over things, some say that is evil, some say its just selfish but they are not good.

Think all but Dun make it clear that they are selfish and do it for themselves.
