Is a DLC or expansion coming?

Just as title asks, do we have any info on that? I mean just from talking to Melody (bless her heart) you would kinda figure that something is coming, where we finally get to know what it is she needed us for and what is going on with her. Its been a while and no announcment that I have noticed, so im getting kinda restless :D I hope we wont have to wait for DOS 3 :(

When this thread was created, the new version of the game was not announced yet.
People assumed DLC could happen, unlike DOS 1, because of Larian hinting at it in an interview.
But now I seriously doubt it.
DOS 2 Definitive Edition, and this is it, better wait for DOS 3 after that.

So this is their final product....well that's very nice of them but is just hard to believe it in basely dlc times. Well if there is no extension nor dlc then probably will just wait for revoicing and buy it.

Larian has an history for not releasing DLC, nor liking it.
They prefer working on new titles, DOS 1 did not have any DLC.

I thought DOS 2 alwready had full voices.
They are indeed adding stuff, and improving the last act, along with the inventory and the journal.

I personnaly hope optimization is much better this time, because it runs like crap on my PC.

There will be no DLC or expansions the game is a masterpiece as it is now it doesnt need it. They are busy working on Divinity: Dragon Commander 2 so i say let them work.

I remember reading something about them recording/rerecording a lot of stuff for the game's final act... They definitely know that the ending is lacklustre, whether or not you wanna call that DLC it sounds like a pretty substantial rework

Ya Definitive edition will also being adding Squirrel Companion so ya it does kind of have dlc, it will also be litteraly Expanding upon the story so kinda does have expansion. There case closed. They just cool to not be like most garbo companies and rip you off by making you buy such things.

No dlc is coming people, anything new we get will come with the enhanced edition and thats it, they will be adding stuff like the squirrel and changing some origin stories and redoing a good portion of the last chapter(wich is alredy way more stuff than what your average season pass gives to you). As for what malady wants, we probably gonna have to wait for the next game to find it out. 'menber? like the good ol' days when devs put plotholes in the ending of their games soo you could look foward to an entire new game as a sequel. Instead of a 20$ overpriced dlc.

But i wouldnt be opposed to full blown expansion, at all.
