The most powerful combo?
What you will need:
Level 16
An elf (or shapeshifter mask)
Fane (optional)
5 Poly
3 Necro
3 Hydro
1 Scoundrel
Elemental affinity talent
11 memory slots

Fane gives the elf an extra turn -> Flesh Sacrefice -> Apotheosis -> Adrenalin -> Blood Storm -> Grasp of the Starved -> Skin Graft -> Extra turn -> Flesh Sacrefice -> Adrenalin -> Blood Storm -> Grasp of the Starved.

I doubt anything in the game, regardless of difficulty can survive that, and you still have 1 ap over to reposition incase you didnt catch everyone in the AOE. You can ofcourse also play a high crit chance build and get Savage Sortilege for even more overkill though i dont see why you would need that.
You can ofcourse combine that with stacking buffs like deathwish, peace of mind, etc but thats really not neccesary.

Option two: spec into warfare for the *universal physical damage multiplier bigger than putting a point into necromancy* and only need one cast of Blood Storm.

Pretty much this a warrior will out burst dps any mage in a single skill

No. I meant you go Int>3necro>3Hydro>rest warfare. Blood Storm does physical damage, so it benefits from warfare. It becomes utterly broken if you do that.

ya necro is prolly the strongest damage dealer in the game. I play with the monster madness mod and still like... Rain of blood, grasp of the starved, mass corpse explosion alone is enough to kill just about every mob.Only lame part is they suck for like 60 percent of the game and even then its source heavy so it doesnt even feel fun T.T

idk my max warfare dude with blood storm can't out damage my aero and his thunderstorm. It's like 1/4 the damage.

To a single target.... The one thing everyone doesn't consider... My mage will put out 75% of that damage to that target, but also put out that same damage to everything else, dealing some ridiculous cumulative total in comparison...

They're also not taking the necromancy passive into account: with a few turns of grouping the ai into the target zone, you can shred every enemy's phys armor and a huge chunk of their health off + fully heal your mage in one spell. Late-game you can straight-up start oneshotting entire boss fights with the necro buffs + grouping [let your mage get low, apply deathwish, bstorm, win], midgame if you're doing lone wolf due to stat bloat. Anything that manages to survive's also out of luck, because ai will have been trying to focus down the 'out of position' mage on low health... that just fully healed itself and killed most of the enemies.

You actually need 3 necro and 3 hydro for blood storm. Blood rain only needs one.

I can see how a single blood storm cast cant keep up with thunderstorm, yeah. Though thunderstorm doesnt have a synergy of the level of grasp of the starved. And i cast both twice.

This is the setup I used to do my solo run on a non lone wolf , no glass cannon build. 2H fighter up until lvl 16, then when apotheosis is available, blod storm and grasp are just too good.

Pre casting apotheosis and inner demon/PoM helps a lot. Pre casting apotheosis saves 2 AP for teleporting people into range, or just making any tiny adjustments an individual encounter calls for.

Yeah idk dude, my 2 hand warrior that has it has maxed his warfare its gotta be near 20 atm, and has around 60 strength but blood storm only does likw 1600 dmg per target which is just pathetic to me.

I wish it was more powerful, then maybe I'd get through the cancer that is the final fight.

Necromancy doesnt scale off of strength of course it doesnt do much with just the warfare lmfao

Necromancy deals physical damage, warfare increases physical damage, it scales off strength and warfare...
Hobocop May 24, 2018 @ 2:19am
If you read the descriptions for damaging Necromancer spells, they will say they scale off Intelligence.

Warfare doesn't care what mainstat you use, it'll boost physical damage per point regardless.

Ususally it's just whatever your mainhand weaapon scales off of that the skill will scale from too, but yeah most necromancy spells say intelligence scaling. Blood Storm doesn't say it scales off any stat, except warfare I guess.
