Companion Betrayal/Leave party

So I know when you are about to accend, a companion of yours will come up to you and Betray you. Im assuming this is for not completeing their personal quest? Second, I know a party memeber can leave your party if you piss them off enough. Im a new player, and would really like some advice on making sure I dont loose anyone and no one betrays me, ( It will be to much for my little heart to take). So please, gimme some tips!

Chat with your companions and increase their attitudes towards you. Some choices you make will increase their attitude towards you as well such as not giving up Stingtail for example

The largest influence is finishing their personal quests, yes, though you can tip the scales in your favor by talking with them and building up your relationship that way.

[Gin-chan]

Just be sure to complete their personal quest and generally not get in their way whenever their event occurs. I managed to get to the final fight with everyone including fane supporting me.
